This family came to me with prior renovation experience and  jumped at the chance to add to and augment an existing year round house on the lake close to Charlotte, NC. The kitchen needed to be gutted to be open to the light and the lake view and to support family time together at the table and the counter. The main bedroom feels like a pampering hotel suite, and the lower level room, which was renovated first, is a teen and pool friendly space for hanging out. We touched almost every room in the house in some way to make it their own, and even reused some of the beloved furnishings they brought with them from their previous home.
